Hardwood Flooring
New hardwood installation and refinishing that brings original floors back to life — matched, repaired, and finished to furniture grade.
Few upgrades change a home like hardwood — and few things hurt like a bad floor job. We install new hardwood and refinish original floors to furniture-grade results, including lacing new boards into old so repairs disappear.
On whole-first-floor refinishes we sequence the work with the rest of your project, so the floors are the finale, not a casualty.

Hardwood Questions
- Refinish or replace?
- Solid hardwood can usually be sanded and refinished several times — often the smarter spend. Boards too worn or water-damaged get replaced and laced in before finishing, so the floor reads as one.
- Can you match my existing floors in an addition?
- Yes — species, width, and stain matching is detail work we do constantly on additions and repairs.
- How long before we can walk on refinished floors?
- Light traffic in socks typically next day, furniture in 3–4 days, rugs after a couple of weeks depending on the finish. We'll give you the exact schedule for the product used.
- Do you refinish stairs too?
- Stairs, treads, railings, and the wainscoting around them — staircases are some of our favorite transformations.
