Tile Installation
Custom tile done to last: waterproofed showers, heated floors, backsplashes, and the intricate patterns other installers turn down.
Tile is unforgiving — every layout decision and every substrate shortcut shows forever. We set tile over properly prepared, properly waterproofed surfaces, which is why our showers stay watertight and our floors stay flat.
It's also where we get to show off: intricate accent walls and patterns that other installers turn down are the jobs our clients remember us for.

Tile Questions
- What's behind the tile matters — what do you use?
- Modern waterproofing membrane systems in wet areas, correctly sloped pans, and flat, solid substrates everywhere. Tile is the finish; the system underneath is what makes it last.
- Can you do complex patterns and accent walls?
- Yes — meticulous layout work on intricate patterns is a specialty. A recent client's designer-drawn kitchen accent wall came out exactly as rendered.
- Heated floors — worth it?
- In Pennsylvania bathrooms, almost always yes. Installed during a remodel the added cost is modest, and it's the upgrade clients say they'd never give back.
- Do you fix failing tile or just replace it?
- If the substrate is sound, targeted repair and regrouting can work. If tiles are drumming loose or the pan leaks, honest advice is replacement — patching over a failed system wastes your money.
