LVP Flooring
Luxury vinyl plank done right: proper subfloor prep, moisture control, and clean transitions — the practical floor for basements and busy homes.
LVP earned its popularity: waterproof, tough, warm underfoot, and convincing enough that guests ask if it's hardwood. It's our go-to floor for basements, kitchens, mudrooms, and busy family homes.
The catch: LVP telegraphs every flaw beneath it. Our installs start with subfloor prep and moisture control — the difference between a floor that lasts and one that clicks apart.

LVP Questions
- LVP or hardwood?
- Below grade or in wet-prone rooms, LVP wins on practicality. In formal living spaces, real hardwood still carries the value. Many of our projects use both — we'll map it room by room.
- Is LVP really waterproof?
- The planks are. The floor system is only as good as the prep — moisture testing and correct underlayment on slabs is why our basement floors stay flat and quiet.
- Can LVP go over my existing floor?
- Sometimes — flat, sound, low-pile surfaces can work. Uneven or damaged floors need prep first; skipping it is how seams fail. We'll tell you honestly after a look.
- How fast is an LVP install?
- Most single rooms are a day or two including prep; whole basements typically inside a week. It's one of the fastest transformations per dollar we do.
